Welcome!

I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Economics at the University of Colorado Boulder. Before starting my graduate studies, I earned a B.S. from Sewanee: The University of the South in Mathematics and Economics.

I am an applied microeconomist primarily focusing on topics in labor economics, immigration, and public policy. My research exploits policy changes and natural experiments to analyze the labor market outcomes of immigrants and to understand the drivers of their economic and cultural integration.

I have extensive experience teaching introductory and intermediate economics courses, both in small and large classes. I am passionate about helping my students connect economic theory with real-world phenomena, and I am committed to using a variety of teaching tools to support their learning.

I am on the job market in the 2025-2026 academic year.
